The Maude Kerns Art Center is pleased to present “Home Team: World Stage,” a juried group show featuring the work of 67 Lane County artists, opening on Friday, June 24, with an Opening Reception from 5 – 7 pm. “Home Team: World Stage” is on display during the 2022 World Athletic Championships at UO’s Hayward Field, blocks away from the Art Center. The exhibit showcases the best artwork by our “Home Team” of local artists to the “World Stage” of national and international visitors.
“Home Team: World Stage” was juried by artists Kathleen Caprario, Mija Matriz, and Michael Whitenack. The exhibit features work in a wide variety of media, including collage, photographs, acrylic and oil paintings, wood sculpture, colored pencil, watercolor, pastel, monoprint, fiber art, and mixed media.
