With the current restrictions that are put in place for Lane County, MKAC is still able to host classes based on exemptions for Youth programs and following the outline for Higher Education. We have worked diligently to create a schedule that can ensure the comfort and safety of all involved so we can continue to do what we love most, giving the community the opportunity to enjoy art.
We have made changes to our Education Program for this upcoming term by limiting our class sizes to a maximum of 6 students for our Adult classes*, 8 students for our Young Adults, and 10 students for our Youth programs.
To look toward the beginning of the Winter Term as best as we can, we will be asking students enrolling in classes to make a deposit of 50% of tuition and applicable fees at the time of registration, with remaining tuition due one week (7 days) prior to first class date. This will allow us to be flexible with the start date of the term if we are required to make changes as necessary, and change pricing of classes to reflect this. Students will be notified through email about any scheduling changes, class confirmations, and with final payment information.
Tuition and fees for workshops will be paid in full at the time of registration.
*In the event of lighter restrictions for the county, Adult class sizes will open to a maximum enrollment of 8 students.
We are currently offering scholarships for 50% of the cost of tuition for classes. Scholarships are available for all age groups through the Susi Larsen & Cameron Serbu Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Madeline Christenson Scholarship Fund.
